Research Group: Weed Biology and Management

Integrated weed management includes direct control and preventive measures and must be orchestrated judiciously to optimize control and reduce adverse effects.

 

The direct control measures include both chemical and non-chemical control and preventive methods based on the operation of the systems where weeds occur.

 

The weed management systems include cultivated and natural habitats as well as newly invasive species.

 

Weed biology, statistical modelling, new technology and system integration are essential elements in the research (Associate Professor Christian Andreasen, Associate Professor Jesper Rasmussen, Professor Jens C. Streibig)
