Research group: Animal-microbe interactions
Main research and development plans are to:
1) Study the interaction between domestic and wild vertebrates and their associated microorganisms including changes in distribution due to climatic changes
2) Implement novel multispectral methods for diagnosis of different developmental stages of invertebrates
3) Develop methods for in vitro cultures of parasites
4) Study the prevention of human autoimmune diseases by the use of microorganisms
